Moreton Kids Festival returns in 2018 to celebrate the wide-eyed wonderment and enthusiasm of youth with a program full of family-friendly entertainment. This year there are six interactive zones to explore; Active Kids, Sesame Lane Creative Kids, Green Kids, Quest Curious Kids, Brisbane Kids Fun Kids and Telstra Tech Kids. Originally commencing as a horse sale in 1915, this annual event has grown to attract more than 13,000 people each year, with many of the attractions similar to those you can see at the Melbourne Show. The Sunbury Show has a firm hold on its position on the regional events calendar and continues to attract big crowds through it's fantastic family fun and entertainment. Join Bethany and the Kidding Around team on stage at 1.20pm!
Alannah and Madeline Foundation Buddy Run
Sunday 21st October from 11am
Alexandra Gardens

On October 21 step up and say no to bullying at the first ever Buddy Run – the Anti-Bullying Fun Run – at Alexandra Gardens in Melbourne… all families are invited! The kid-friendly, parent-friendly, cousin-friendly, aunty-and-uncle friendly and grandparent-friendly 1km course means the ENTIRE family can participate together and enjoy a great day out, full of activities for everyone. The length of the run means all children can compete – and the course is also wheelchair and pram-friendly.

Next to the running course on the day is the Event Village, where there will be heaps of fun entertainment and activities for the whole family, making it a great day out for everyone. Wodonga Children's Fair

Since its inception in 1990, the award-winning Wodonga Children's Fair has been a major success and is a feature of Wodonga's calendar of events. It is held in October each year and is a free event for families - both local and from afar, attracting up to 16,000 people. The aim of the event is to celebrate families and young people, and to acknowledge the huge effort that families put into raising children to be active and healthy and make positive contributions to our community's well-being.

Whittlesea Show

The Whittlesea Agricultural Society holds its an annual Show on the first weekend in November each year. With heaps of free activities and entertainment, there’s nothing like the value of the Whittlesea Show. Come along and enjoy the traditional Agricultural Show where a visit to the Animal Nursery is a must. Also at the Show you will find Cattle, Sheep, Horses, Showjumping, Alpaca Display, Woodchop, Vintage Display, and enjoy the fantastic Arts, Crafts, Photography and Education Sections. On the main arena you will be treated to the Bilby Boot Throw, Baker’s Delight Waiters Race, Fun Dog Show.
